Originally developed for postal workers and trail riders, the Honda CT110 was built to go just about anywhere. It used a 105cc four stroke single paired with a four speed transmission and a dual range sub transmission, allowing it to climb steep terrain or cruise at moderate road speeds. Simple, durable, and nearly impossible to kill, the CT110 became a staple of farms, trails, and campgrounds around the world.

Cycle World described it as “motorcycling’s most unspectacular product”, yet the review concluded with admiration noting that despite its modest power and dated styling, the CT110 “took us everywhere we pointed them.” With a top speed of around 55 mph and rugged pressed steel frame construction, it proved that adventure doesn’t require horsepower, only curiosity and reliability.

This 1986 model represents the final years of CT110 production before Honda transitioned to newer step through and trail designs. Light, approachable, and endlessly practical, it remains one of the simplest ways to experience the joy of riding off the beaten path.
