At the turn of the millennium, the MV Agusta brand was revived with the release of a new flagship, the 750cc F4. Penned by the great Massimo Tamburini, the F4 boasted a ground-breaking design that redefined the modern superbike. In the years that followed, the F4 underwent a series of revisions and model updates, though the bike’s incredible aesthetics went largely unchanged.

Underneath the proverbial hood, MV fitted the bike with a sonorous transverse four-cylinder capable of pumping out a hearty 126 horses and 52.8 lb-ft of torque. What’s more, the engine was surrounded by quality components such as 49mm Showa front forks, a Sachs rear shock, and a set of Nissin brakes.

Ultimately, however, it was the styling that proved the bike’s pièce de résistance — particularly the quad organ pipe exhaust.

This example is VIN: ZCGAGFLJ12V100433. The seller acquired it eighteen years ago from John Valk BMW Ducati in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

During his ownership, the seller has not ridden the bike. The odometer shows 4,966 miles.

It was originally sold in the US and has been converted to Canadian safety standards.

“Purchased the bike for my large collection. I have enjoyed looking at it and now its time for someone else to enjoy. This was an all silver bike. I didn’t care for the all silver color and already had another MV with the red upper and silver lower bodywork so I had the lower bodywork painted red so it would be a cool opposite of my other MV. The work was professionally done to a very high standard using new OEM decals.”

Maintenance:
“New oil/filter, new battery, new fuel pump.” The seller notes that it is “lacking some throttle response between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. I would suggest running a tank full of fuel through it with an additive like Sea Foam. This bike was in storage for 18 years.”
Modifications:
CRC tank protector.

Inside of the tank:
The seller notes “some surface rust.”

It is riding on Pirelli Diablo tires with date codes of 1701 and 0205.

The sale includes two keys and the tool kit.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“Marks on the front lower faring, a slight yellowing in a small part of the tank silver paint by the gas cap. Scratch on the end of the clutch lever.”

Currently located in Sorrento, British Columbia, Canada, this MV Agusta is offered on a clean Canada title. Have any F4 750 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
