Just for 1990, America got a taste of Honda’s NSF50F two stroke “sport” bike. Despite the diminutive size, it’s a street legal bike with a claimed top speed of 55 miles per hour – think of it as a MB5 that got updated with liquid cooling and then painted by a Miami coke dealer.

Per Motorcyclist Magazine, only approximately 200 were imported to the US. It featured a 6-speed transmission with drum brakes on both ends and 17 inch wheels. Honda offered three accessories for this bike when new which are now incredibly difficult to find – a chin fairing, a full fairing (basically the chin with a lower fairing), and a tach. “I bought the motorcycle to get a hold of a very rare piece of Honda history, and to have some fun on a motorcycle I’ve never ridden. Selling to free up cash for other projects. And to be the first guy to bring a Honda NS50F to Iconic.”

Maintenance:
“All fluids in 2019, carb refresh, spark plug, tires, gear oil, coolant, fork oil in 2019 by Moto Classic Garage. I cleaned the carburetor, replaced carburetor gaskets, and replaced choke pull.”

“Turn signals need flasher relay to blink normally.”
Modifications:
“Only aftermarket parts are the turn signals and rear fender. Original were not included with the bike when I purchased it.”

It is riding on Michelin City Pro tires with date codes of 3518 and 4018.

The sale includes one key, the owner’s manual, tool kit, warranty paperwork, maintenance records, and a tremendous amount of the original sales paperwork.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album in the “Photos” tab for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“A few scuffs on fairing, scratch on top of rear tail cowl fairing, rock chips on lower sections of exhaust, rock chips on lower section of frame. Overall great condition for the age but not cosmetically perfect.”

Currently located in Marina del Rey, California, California, this Honda is offered on a clean California title with registration current through August 2026.
