Please Note: The seller is willing to deliver this bike himself anywhere in the contiguous United States (not Alaska or Hawaii) for $300.
In 1980, Kawasaki was offering two significantly different bikes with the same name: KZ750. The KZ750 “G” featured a parallel twin and had been around since 1976, but new for that year was the inline four-powered “E”.

The “E” was the one you wanted – as Cycle World put it, the four-cylinder KZ750 was “the quickest 750 this magazine has ever tested and the lightest 750 multi available.”

Manufactured in July of 1981, this example is VIN: JKAKZDE14CA033695. The seller acquired it four months ago from a private party in New Jersey who was the third owner.

During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 800 miles. The odometer shows 21,677 miles.

“I purchased this bike as I had bought one exactly like it in 1982. I used that bike to ride from Texas to San Francisco on vacation and loved that bike. When I saw this one for sale I had the idea to buy it since it identical to the one I had. I then prepared and took an 800 mile 2-day ride to Texas to then very house I lived in at the time, took photos in front of it and rode all the old roads in the area I did back in 1982. Quite a nostalgic trip. That said my time with is done and it’s for someone else to have their own story with it. It needs nothing and is ready for coast to coast riding if so inclined. Love this bike.”

Maintenance:
The seller states that the bike is fully functional and there are no known mechanical issues. “This bike has been completely gone through front to back. All fluids have been changed, chain and sprockets were replaced, normal tune up maintenance done.”

Modifications:
“Forks have Race Tech springs, shocks are YSS, other than those items the bike is essentially all stock in original condition.”

It is riding on Continental ContiClassicAttack tires with date codes of 0515 and 2316.

The sale includes one key and some extra spark plugs.

“The bike comes with a perfect condition Delkevic 4-1 stainless pipe.”
