Moto Guzzi offered a Special Edition (SE) variant of their popular Griso model which was set off with spoked wheels and blacked out trim pieces. It also got a standout paint job each year: one of the most popular ones was the “Tenni Green” offering from 2012 which paired a distinctive green livery with a brown leather seat.

It was named after Omobono Tenni, who was also known as the Black Devil or the Red Bullet. Tenni was most notably the first non-Brit to win the Isle of Man TT, but he was also a hugely successful competitor — he won some 47 races for Guzzi between 1933 and 1947. He was killed during a practice session for the Swiss GP. In addition to this limited edition V11, Guzzi honored Omobon with a monument in the factory museum. It’s a special color for Guzzi, who also built a limited run of the V11 Le Mans in Omobono’s honor (and used the same focus of green paint with a brown seat).

This listing is for what appears to be a new set of Tenni Green OEM bodywork for Moto Guzzi Griso – the sale includes the tank, left/right “fairings”, tail, front fender, and seat.

Per the seller, “all the bodywork is NOS and has never been installed“.

Currently located in Panorama City, California, (please make an appointment for an inspection) this bodywork is offered on a Bill of Sale only. Have any Griso stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
