Despite the retro styling, the Ducati GT1000 was nearly a decade ahead of its time as it had already been killed off well before all the other OEMs started the current rebirth of retro-styled motorcycles – that’s one of the reasons they’ve turned into cult classics.

The GT1000 was a modern take on Ducati’s older GT bikes, and it was the most comfortable of the SportClassic line.

The twin-cylinder engine produced 92 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 67 lb/ft at 6000 rpm.

Cycle World called this one of the best standard used bike buys out there, also noting that there wasn’t much competition because of its trendsetting styling.

This example is VIN: ZDM1WABP37B008583. The seller purchased used from Ducati NYC in 2019.

The odometer shows 3,389 miles. The seller has put approximately 2000 miles on the bike.
