Introduced in 1974, Yamaha’s DT125 was an evolution of the AT1. It was the baby of a range of DT models spanning from 125 to 400. Yamaha called it “a civilized machine with a wide open spirit.”

It was an enduro with off-road chops but all the equipment required for street legality – speedometer, mirror, and lighting.

It featured a 123 cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine good for 17 hp and 10 ft-lb of torque.

This example is VIN: 594003717, Engine #: 594-003717. The seller acquired it from a collector in British Columbia 13 years ago.

During his ownership, the seller covered 50 miles. The odometer shows 595 miles.

“I purchased this bike to display in my Yamaha dealership, I sold the dealership and no longer have room for it. This is an original bike with low mileage that has not been restored.”

Maintenance:
The seller notes a new battery. “Low and high beam not working, tail, brake and plate light not working, very minor oil leak noticeable on floor after it has been sitting for a few weeks.”
Our partners at Dreamcycle inspected the bike and have provided the following condition report:

Modifications:
The seller states that this bike is stock.

It is riding on Yokohoma tires that have aged out.

The sale includes one ignition key and the owner’s manual.
