Please Note: When this bike was imported from Japan in 2023, the de-registered Japanese title stated the bike was a 2007 model (it was likely originally titled based on the year it was first registered). As such, this bike was titled in the US as a 2007 model, however it is a 2003. The seller has confirmed this with Ducati USA.
After a long series of 916-based superbikes, Ducati dramatically mixed things up styling-wise with the vertically-stacked lights and double-sided swingarm of the 999 in 2003.

The styling was polarizing but the riding experience was not. And while many Ducatisti favored the up-spec S and R models, the base model was a quality machine in its own right. Suspension came courtesy of Showa, brakes were taken care of via a Brembo setup, and output amounted to a healthy 140 horses at 9,750rpm and 80lb-ft of torque at 8,000rpm.

This example is VIN: ZDMH400AA2B000898. The seller acquired it in 2023 through an Iconic Motorbikes auction, it had previously been imported from Japan.

During his ownership, the seller has covered 1,755 miles. The odometer shows 17,334 miles.
