In 2018, MV Agusta unveiled a concept for a new machine called the Superveloce. It was based on the F3 800 but with styling inspired by their 70s racers – the resulting machine won “Most Beautiful Bike of the Show” at EICMA 2018. A year later, the Italian firm announced that the Superveloce was going into production, calling it “a modern interpretation of the iconic stylistic concept of the MV Agusta. A fusion of vintage and contemporary ensures that the future incorporates the memories of good times gone by.”

Going back to the debut of the legendary F4, MV Agusta has historically commenced production runs of their most significant models with what they call the Serie Oro (Italian for Gold Series). They did it with the first generation of the Superveloce in 2021 and again for the 2024 reveal of the outrageous Superveloce 1000.

The “1000” comes from the 998cc inline four engine found in MV’s Brutale 1000, producing the same 208 horsepower but now with dramatic full fairings. utilizing both laminated and press-formed carbon fiber.

Per MV, “the design of the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro pays homage to the legendary MV Agusta F4 750 Serie Oro, as highlighted by the stylized-star-shaped wheels and the 4-exit titanium exhaust system.”
