Please Note: The seller has a startup video from when he originally acquired it seven years ago. He then modified it extensively, but later decided he wasn’t going to get back into racing, so the engine still needs to be broken in. 2011 marked the end of two-stroke world championships – the next year, Moto3 moved to four-strokes, and Honda’s first factory effort was the NSF250R. Rules capped bore size at 81mm, revs at 14,000 rpm, and valves at four. Honda called their NSF250R,A new racing machine for a new era: light, compact, high output, high performance.”

Claimed power? 48 ponies, which were plenty for the feather light dry weight of 180 pounds. Honda offered this racer in the US in 2012 with a MSRP of $28,599.

That would be the only year that Honda officially exported the bike to the US via their dealer network in the United States, but HRC still makes them new and passionate motorcyclists still import them to enjoy on tracks all around the country.

There is no odometer, however the bike has not been ridden.

The seller provided a photo of how he got the bike when new.

Maintenance:
Since it’s brand new/unused, the engine needs to be broken in – has Royal Purple break-in oil in it. The suspension set up for a rider that weighs about 135-160lbs. No maintenance needed, however, it’s been modified with performance parts to be faster / better than stock.”

Modifications:
The seller has provided a lengthy list of modifications:
• JHA Wide Body upper/lower (very rare) – Painted “Killer Whale” black & white (Very rare and not available any longer). Originally made for a Honda RS125, I modified the lower by creating a long, lowered fiberglass “pocket” to fit the NSF exhaust. And a JHA spare windscreen is included as well as a Speedfiber spare screen for the complete stock bodywork.

• Speedfiber large carbon fiber airbox and big intake – much bigger than stock and in intake scoop is huge – the width of the radiator – it provides more top end speed.

• Speedfiber carbon fiber front/rear fenders

• Speedfiber Left/Right full swingarm carbon fiber protectors

• Forks have been freshened up with Silkolene synthetic 5wt oil and .70 Springs
• HM Quick-Shifter (pro-level and one of the best out there)

• Hjelm 3cm longer footpeg brackets

Also – the NSF comes with many new spares and rare performance parts from Japan as well as the stock bodywork that came with the bike:
• Roscoe Rollers starter – is one of the best and most compact ones out there and I don’t believe they are available anymore, Roscoe died in 2025

• New original / stock bodywork included
• Endurance (All Japan) under-tail exhaust system with matching subframe (new and still in the box, no longer available and I believe this might be the only new one left, globally.)

• Marvic Penta Magnesium spare wheels (almost new) w/ brake rotors and they also come with new low friction wheel bearings from Worldwide Bearings, uninstalled in the box. Pair of stock new wheel bearings also included.

• All HRC tuning wiring, mapping software and HRC manual

• QSTARZ GPS Lap Timer (new in the box)

• Lots of spares, frame protectors, etc. – see photo album
• Chicken Hawk tire warmers (come from the Red Bull Rookies Cup – they are used.)

• Front & Rear Battle Factory lightweight stands

• Lots of front & rear sprockets (new and used)
• Sealed up, unopened 5 gallon can of VP C12 fuel, but rent some dyno time and tune it to whatever fuel you want to use

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on the original Bridgestone Racing Battlax slick tires.
