Giovanni Bussei is an Italian motorcycle racer who won the 2000 Italian Superbike Championship and has had a long career in British Superbike, World Superbike, AMA Superbike and the Supermoto World Championship. In 2003, he raced several rounds of World Superbike for Team Union Bike/Gimotorsports on the Yamaha R1 that we have up for auction today.
He raced the first seven rounds of WSBK with Union Bike and then switched over to Ducati Austin for the US round at Laguna Seca after they fired Anthony Gobert in AMA Superbike, replacing Gobert for the Ducati team in both series.

This race bike does not have a VIN. The seller acquired it from a private party in Italy three years ago.
During his ownership, the seller has not ridden the bike. True mileage is unknown.
