Cold Start Video: The seller adds, “Audio on cold-start video does a poor job of capturing the true sound of this machine and its’ racing exhaust. In person, it sounds a bit like a fire-breathing dragon…super powerful and demanding respect.”
The 1198S was a phenomenal machine – MCN called it “one of the best V-twins ever made” and “truly one of those motorcycles that everybody should be allowed to ride once in their life.” For those of you that want a dash of exclusivity, Ducati produced a special cosmetic package called the Corse between 2009 and 2011.

This particular 1198S, with stock engine at 170 HP and factory traction control system, has been modified for strictly racetrack use with Ohlins suspension, full Termingnoni exhaust, Spyder controls, plastic tank, race bodywork, and a custom paint job.

Extensive details on the racetrack build are included in PDF files provided. The build was professionally completed in April 2022 at over $4,500 in cost paid by prior owner.

This example is VIN: ZDM1XBLW5AB027250.

The odometer shows 9,907 miles.
