Meet the Suzuki Go-Fer, the new king for the best sidecover in motorcycling history.

The 98cc air-cooled 2-stroke single is paired with disc valve induction. It produces 9.5 hp and 6.87 lb-ft of torque, enough to get the A100 to about 60 miles per hour.

Despite the diminutive size, the Go-Fer is street legal and features big-bike features like rotary valves and Suzuki’s CCI (Crankcase Cylinder Injection), which injects oil into various parts of the injection in lieu of mixing it with the gasoline. Suzuki claimed it reduced oil usage and reduced carbon buildup.

Manufactured in June 1976, this example is VIN: A100220378, Engine #: A100-317760. The seller acquired it in the mid 1990s.

During their ownership, the seller covered roughly 150 miles. The odometer shows 2,153 miles.

This bike is being sold by our friends at New Haven Powersports in New Haven, Connecticut. “This bike was bought in the mid-1990’s on one of my father’s yearly father/son trips to Corvettes at Carlisle in Pennsylvania. I was told by my brother that it was bought with a title, but no paperwork has been found.”

Maintenance:
No formal service records are available, as maintenance was primarily handled by in-house mechanics. The vehicle has been in long-term storage for an extended period, which has caused some rust to form inside the fuel tank. It was originally put away with the intention of being ridden again but has sat undisturbed until recently.”

Mechanical Issues:
The bike runs, the fuel tank is rusty, so we ran it off a gas bottle. The horn, brake light and turn signals do not work..”
