Where the SB-series bikes drew their power from Suzuki, the “DB” designation tells you this one is powered by Ducati. The DB5R is the most extreme version of the DB5 — lightweight and agile, powered by a classic Ducati 1000 DS desmodromic V-twin engine that produces a unique and emotive riding experience: lightning-fast corner entry and mid-corner speeds, with super-precise lines and easy direction changes.
Suspension is Ohlins throughout — the front gets fully adjustable 43mm upside-down forks with TiN-coated stanchions, while the rear gets a fully adjustable monoshock. The powerful progressive brakes are Brembo, with 320mm front discs squeezed by four-piston radial calipers.
A pair of gorgeous forged aluminum OZ Racing wheels complete the package. The DB5R’s bodywork is made entirely of carbon fiber, painted in red, green, and white — the traditional colors of the Italian flag.
