Riding Video:

Produced for nearly 40 years, the Servicar was a three-wheeler HD produced in an attempt to further expand their target customer base during the Great Depression. One of their selected targets was automotive mechanics, so this bike was designed to allow mechanics put their tools in the rear storage box to make house calls.

At the time of factory orders, they could even be supplied with a tow bar so if a customer’s car was finished, the mechanic could take both vehicles to the client’s home, then ride the trike back. Released in 1932, the Servicar evolved nearly year over year. The three-wheeled nature and the giant storage box in back lent the Harley Davidson Servi-car to a wide variety of uses for businesses – and it became a popular platform for customizers, as well.

This example is VIN: 41G3372. The seller acquired it five years ago from a private party in Calgary, Alberta.

During his ownership, the seller has covered five miles. The odometer shows 20 miles (after a restoration).

“This is an absolutely beautiful Servicar. It includes all the manuals and was displayed at the Trev Deeley Motorcycle Museum for many years by the current owner. This is not a fiberglass reproduction, it has all metal bodywork.”

This bike is equipped with reverse and is geared for highway riding.

The sale of this Servicar includes a wonderful printed history that we have slightly annotated:

Maintenance:
The seller has performed an oil change. “Horn, speedo and light on front fender not working. It is possible I was not going fast enough in my parking lot to see the speedo start working as it starts to register at 10 MPH.”

Our partners at Dreamcycle inspected the bike and have provided the following condition report:
