Introduced in 1966, the Bultaco Lobito brought the Spanish brand’s considerable experience with competition motorcycles to a more approachable trail bike. The Lobito featured a two-stroke single cylinder engine, four speed transmission, and a simple single cradle frame and spoked wheels.
Its upright riding position, compact proportions, and lightweight construction were intended to make the Lobito equally at home exploring trails or navigating tighter terrain.
The 1966 model represents the beginning of the Lobito 100’s production run, identified in Bultaco records as Model 19. The original Lobito remained in production through 1969 before the model evolved into later variants.
This example is VIN: B1902289. The seller acquired it from a collection in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
