In 1965, BSA launched the “Victor”, a MX special based on the B44. It became incredibly popular and spawned several variants, not to mention the factory works racers that looked stunning with alloy/black liveries surrounding titanium frames.
We were provided this machine without any history, and as such we are presenting our best guess to you.
The collector that asked us to sell the bike fell in love with the style, a replica/tribute to the BSA race bikes such as the one campaigned by Jeff Smith in the late 60s.
We love the Doherty grips, Rickman conical hubs, and Avon New Gripster tires.
The frame appears to be nickel-plated and shows very well in person, but again we have no documentation of this build, as much as we wish we did. We appreciate feedback from anyone who may know more about this bike than we do!
The carb intake boot is missing and we are unable to verify if this BSA runs or not.
This beautiful BSA has been on display for years in a large collection. It’s ready for display in another collection – but if you’d like to ride this in some classic events our White Glove service would be glad to make it a runner for you.
