2026-04-07 10:50:00 2026-04-07 11:00:00 America/Los_Angeles 1967 Triton Sewickley, Pennsylvania - Combining the best features of Triumphs and Nortons, this was the ultimate and original Cafe Racer formula! https://iconicmotorbikeauctions.com/auction/1967-triton/ Iconic Motorbike Auctions concierge@iconicmotorbikes.com

Please Note: the seller is physically unable to kick start the bike in his current health. He has provided a walk-around video instead:

The term Triton came about as many private builders (and even some dealerships in London) started to take the best features of Triumphs and Nortons – the engine from the former and the frame from the latter – to make a bike that had the best of both worlds. Triton combines the two names (and is also the name of a Greek God).

Each Triton was custom and therefore different, but most paired a Norton Featherbed frame with a 650cc or 750cc Triumph engine. Today’s example on auction combines a Norton frame with a Triumph 750cc engine.

This example is VIN: 20118966.

The odometer shows 4,909 miles.

The seller is our buddy Mike Seate of Café Racer Magazine. He built it in 1996 with help from Collins Cycle in Sutersville, Pennsylvania. “Has been pampered and garage-kept for 30 years, started and ridden short distances few times each summer.”

Maintenance:
Oil changes seasonally, carburetors drained every fall, ethanol-free gasoline used exclusively. Electrical system refurbished in 2025, fresh lithium battery..”

Modifications:
New 750cc engine installed in 2019.

Lucas taillight.

Kawasaki W650 complete front end installed 2025 with Magura radial master cylinder, new clip-on handlebars, chrome front fender, brake light switch, aluminum,

Original Manx pattern fuel tank from Unity Equipe.

Triumph conical rear brake hub, needle roller bearings, YSS shocks.”

Inside of the tank:

The sale includes 1 ignition key.
