What we know today to be dual sports used to be called enduro bikes on account of their go-anywhere, do-anything versatility. Yamaha’s CT1 is precisely such a motorcycle, designed to fill the gap between the AT1 and DT1.

Built with a 171cc two-stroke, single-cylinder engine, a raised rear fender, some high-mounted exhaust, and a generous amount of ground clearance, it offered customers the perfect compromise between on-road comfort and off-road chops. Thanks to its 14hp and Autolube oil injection system, it proved very approachable amongst riders of all ages and skill levels.

This example is VIN: CT1022477, Engine #: CT1-022477. The seller acquired it five years ago from a collector.

The seller has put approximately 41 miles on the bike during his ownership. Currently, the odometer shows 943 miles.

Maintenance:
The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues, noting that it has been “overhauled” but he does not have invoices.

Modifications:
Passenger seat.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Dunlop Trials Universal tires which show some cracking in the sidewalls.

The sale includes three keys, promotional material, the tool kit, rider’s manual, and the original sales paperwork.
