Description
In 1969, Honda released one of the most important motorcycles that would ever be sold in America – the Trail 70 (also known as the CT70). It was the first motorcycle for many of today’s riders, and nowadays it serves double duty as an excellent entrée into motorcycling as well as a lovely reminder of times gone by.
In the US, the CT70 was sold from 1969-1982, and again from 1991-1994. The 1972 Honda CT70 was powered by a 72cc four-stroke engine, its lightweight body, folding handlebars, and compact frame allow for easy transportation and storage, while its step-through design and low seat height provide a comfortable and unintimidating riding experience. The CT70 remains a symbol of fun and adventure, while still embodying Honda’s dedication to reliability and quality.
This example is VIN: CT702013507. The seller purchased the bike from a private party and states, “Bought a little over a year ago because I had one as a kid and loved it. It was a very low mileage unmolested original bike with the original blue California plate on it. And I had a retired factory Honda mechanic do all the work and repairs to get it back to its original glory.”
True mileage unknown. The odometer shows 1,804 miles.
