Description

Please note: The seller states that this Suzuki is, “an unrestored survivor purchased from a collection and it’s all original condition from new.” Because of that, it has never been ridden and there is no cold start video.

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

Introduced in 1973 as the Challenger with a distinctive Aspen Yellow paint scheme, the Suzuki TM125 was ‘built to take on the country.’ One year later, the TM125L was released, with a new fuel tank design of yellow/green instead of yellow/blue, to complement the 20 horsepower (or 17.5 with the silencer), two-stroke engine.

In ’74 Suzuki also revised the suspension by improving the fork travel and rear shocks. This upgrade had it landing jumps softer than its competitors, the Honda CR125, Kawasaki KX125, and Yamaha YZ125.

Manufactured in May of 1974, this example is VIN: TM125-39523, engine number: TM125-40179. The seller acquired the bike 10 years ago; he purchased the bike from the original owner.

There is no odometer, according to the seller the bike has less than one hour of run time.

Maintenance:
The seller states, “This bike was never ridden. After purchase in 1974, it was serviced and stored for 38 years in a climate controlled hanger. It has been in my collection for 10 years also in a climate controlled display.”

Modifications:
Per the seller, “This bike is an untouched, un-restored original except for a uni air filter and spark plug.”

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on its original Bridgestone Motocross tires.

The sale includes the original Suzuki brochure.
