Description
Additional photos of this Kawasaki Z900 Project are available here for your perusal.
This listing is for a unfinished project that a friend of Iconic has spent the last few years collecting parts for. He acquired it four years ago from a private party in Arizona and is letting it go as he unfortunately doesn’t have time to finish it. He notes that everything is included – “all you need to do is finish the project.”
This example is VIN: Z1F116703 – here’s the original tag before powder coating:
The seller also has replacement stickers for after the project is completed:
The odometer shows 42,187 miles.
The seller summarizes his bike with the following: “I must emphasize the Bassani exhaust and Lester wheels, which are very rare. There are lots of powdercoated parts and the body work is brand new. The engine is fresh with new pistons and rings and it has a welded crank. It was assembled by Yoshi Kosaka at Garage Company in Gardena, California.”
There are several special parts:
Cruzin’ Image 986cc big bore kit, welded crankshaft, powdercoated frame, powdercoated Lester wheels, drilled front disk brakes.
Bassani 4-into-1 coated exhaust.
“Brand new, never installed 1972 Z1 bodywork that includes the Kawasaki tank badges and side cover badges.”
Powdercoated box section swing arm.
Dynatek ignition, Accel coils and wires.
Kawasaki oil cooler, powdercoated clutch housing, sprocket cover, oil filter housing.
Three complete wire harnesses, extra front disk brake rotors. New rear brake shoes. Stock and original Kawasaki turn signals. Z1 and KZ900 taillights included. New drive chain. Carbs included with air pods and stock air box. Fork brace. Extra cylinder included.
Currently located in San Juan Capistrano, California, this Kawasaki project is offered on a Bill of Sale only. Have any Z900 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
