Introduced in 1974, Yamaha’s DT125 was an evolution of the AT1. It was the baby of a range of DT models spanning from 125 to 400. Yamaha called it “a civilized machine with a wide open spirit.”

It was an enduro with off-road chops but all the equipment required for street legality – speedometer, mirror, and lighting.

It featured a 123 cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine good for 17 hp and 10 ft-lb of torque.

This example is VIN: 560004406, Engine #: 560-004406. The seller acquired it in October 2021 from the family of the original owner. “It was stored in a basement since its original purchase in 1976.”

During his ownership, the seller has covered 13 miles. The odometer shows 110 miles.

Modifications:
The seller states that this bike is completely original.

It is riding on Yokohama Trail Sport tires which have aged out.

Per the seller, “the battery and fuel have ben replaced. The bike has been detailed and tested for full operation.

The sale includes the tool kit, owner’s manual, and warranty guide book.


The sale also includes two keys.

Currently located in Austin, Texas, this Yamaha is offered on a clean Vermont title with registration current through April 2024.
