Description

Considered by some to be the world’s first “superbike”, the Honda CB750 is truly an iconic machine. 1978 was the last year of the SOHC models, closing out a nine-year run of dominance for the big CB.

The ’93 900SS had Mikuni carbs feed the air-cooled 904cc air/oil cooled V-Twin which was good for just under 80 horsepower. Combined with a dry weight of 414 pounds and classic Ducati styling, the 900SS was quite the commercial success – almost 28k of them were sold over a seven year run.

This bike blends both the CB and 900SS into a custom chopper built by the seller who says, “Was my daily rider for a full year.”

This example is VIN: CB750K2803772. The seller has owned the bike 5 years and notes, “I built it, I’m a professional fabricator and had my own shop (Spirit Lake Cycles) for many years.”

There is no odometer, true mileage unknown. The seller estimates covering approximately 8,000 miles during his ownership.

Maintenance:
Per the seller, “Oil change, carb rebuild, belt service, spark plugs.”

Modifications:
“Built it from scratch. KTM front and rear wheels and tons of fabrication. Custom exhaust, custom metal work on the body, inverted long travel front end, custom paint by Vicious Cycles, lots of custom handmade parts.”

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Shinko and Dunlop K180 tires tires with date codes of 0418.

The sale includes one ignition key and a Dice magazine the bike was featured in.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“Some cracking in the paint near the petcock. Minor cracking of paint on the rear of the frame.”

Currently located in Los Angeles, California, this Honda is offered on a clean California title with registration current through June 2026.
