Description

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

After the classic 750GT of the 70s, Ducati looked to evolve with a simpler engine. They ended up with the first ‘square case’ bevel twin: the 860 GT.

Just a few years later, they released the much improved 900 SD Darmah.

By 1981, the SD Darmah featured Brembo brakes, magnesium Speedline wheels, a dual seat with more padding, Bosch ignition, Silentium exhaust, standard electric start, and Marzocchi suspension.

Manufactured in June of 1979, this example is VIN: 950481. The seller acquired this example from “British Imports Limited in South Carolina six months ago“.

The odometer shows zero miles. British Imports LTD. were the original owners, they had the motorcycle imported via Berliner Motor Corporation in New Jersey.

Maintenance:
The seller notes this motorcycle has never been dealer prepped, and no gas has ever been inside of the tank.

Modifications:
Per the seller, this example is stock.

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on the original Pirelli Gordon tires.

The sale includes two keys.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes there is general patina from storage, and small pitting on the rear right pipe.

Currently located  in Rock Hill, South Carolina, this Ducati is offered on the original MSO.
