Additional photos of this 1980 Moto Guzzi CX-100 Le Mans available here for your perusal.

The successor to the legendary 850cc Le Mans, the Moto Guzzi LeMans II CX100 was created to satisfy the American mantra of “no replacement for displacement” and compete with the BMW R100RS. Guzzi took the engine and lower fairings from the 1000SP sport tourer and added them to the LeMans.

According to Ian Falloon in his “Moto Guzzi Sport & Le Mans Bible”, just 353 of these bikes were built.

This example is VIN: VU111352, Engine #: VG205980. The seller acquired it over a year ago from a private party in Colorado.

During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 800 miles. The odometer has been removed so true mileage is unknown.

The seller calls this “the ultimate rat bike.”

Modifications:
950cc motor, dual-plug 850 big valve heads, 10:1 high compression pistons. lightened flywheel, geared timing chest, bronze racing clutch, electric ignition with dual Dyna coils.

Corbin seat.

Marzocchi shocks.

Ceriani F1 forks rebuilt by Davey Durelle of Durelle Racing.

40mm Dell’Orto PHM carbs w/ aluminum stacks.

Tarozzi high-rise clip on bars.

Recent Maintenance:
The seller notes “new stainless brake lines, new brake pads, R&R calipers, new oil + filter, oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket, new fuel taps, replaced bevel and gearbox oils.”

Cosmetic Blemishes:
Per the seller, “this bike has signs of age and wear on it, notably the frame and rims.” Please look at the photo album up top for more photos.

Mechanical Issues:
No speedometer and no odometer.

No brake light attached to the hand brake lever and no front turn signals.

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Continental ContiClassicAttack tires.

The sale includes the front fender as well as manuals and misc. parts (not pictured).

Currently located in Seattle, Washington, this Moto Guzzi is offered on a clean Washington title.
