In the late 70s, Honda offered both a CB750F and a CB900F, but per their marketing department the US only got the 750 and Europe only got the 900. Both markets were upset about this because humans always think the grass is greener on the other side. It took a few years, but Honda eventually satisfied the US by bringing the 900F over as well.

The press loved it – Cycle magazine called it “one of the best performance buys on the market.”

This example is VIN: JH2SC0105CM107287.

The odometer shows 13,234 miles.

In preparation for the listing, the seller had Steve the Professor replace the front and rear brake pads, install a new battery, clean and sync the carbs, rebuild the forks, and install new Kenda Challenger tires – the invoice total was $2,242.47.
