The GSX was an evolution of Suzuki’s GS series, though here in the US we still knew it as the GS. But GSX was the given name in other markets (such as South Africa, where this bike came from).
The 1100 was the biggest of the offerings, and when it debuted in 1979 it was marketed as “the fastest standard motorcycle in the world.”

This is one of the bikes that we imported from a collection in South Africa. In preparation for the listing, we cleaned and synced the carbs, changed the oil and filter, flushed the brake fluid, installed a new petcock, and installed a new battery – the invoice totaled up to $1,462.38. The technician (Daniel) recommends new tires and notes that the forks are leaking and should be rebuilt.

Continental US: Haul Bikes will ship anything sold through Iconic for a starting rate of $750 in the Continental US (prices may increase in rural markets), and Iconic will handle the paperwork on your behalf. You do not need to crate your bike or drain the gas/disconnect the battery if you go with Haul Bikes. We are glad to work with the shipper of your choice as well, but you will have to arrange it.
