Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F was a sleek looking standard that evolved from the 900F. In the process, it had tremendous performance – in January of ’83, Cycle World said it was the fastest stock bike they’ve ever tested.
The 4 cylinder engine produced 108 horsepower, good for a top speed of 139 miles per hour.
The US got an optional chin fairing and a slightly different seating position than the rest of the world.
There were two paint scheme options: Candy Pearl Capiolani Blue/Pearl Shell White and the Candy Pearl Maui Red/Pearl Shell White in front of you here today.
The seller of this example (VIN: JH2SC1102DM003296) acquired it six months ago.
The odometer shows 29,740 miles.
It is currently available for viewing at our location in Marina del Rey, California and is offered on a clean California title with registration until February 2021.
Modifications:
Hindle 4/2/1 stainless exhaust. The OEM exhaust is included and the seller rates it in 8/10 condition.
Black steel braided brake lines front and rear.
Boomerang wheels off a Euro/Canada spec CB1100F.
The wheels, cam cover, stator cover, and left case cover were recently powdercoated.
This CB-F has been repainted and it has new decals.
Accel coils and upgraded ignition wires.
The carbs were rebuilt just last week by Mike Nixon.
Adam just rode this bike and notes that it “starts up immediately, has one finger brakes, and it needs nothing but a new home as the owner is making room for a new bike he purchased from Iconic.”
