Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F was a sleek looking standard that evolved from the 900F. In the process, it had tremendous performance –- in January of ’83, Cycle World said “the Honda CB1100F is a high-performance match for any 1100, in terms of speed and acceleration and handling and braking ability, and has superior cornering clearance as well.”

The 4 cylinder engine produced 108 horsepower, good for a top speed of 139 miles per hour. During testing reviewers even found that, “In the half mile, the CB1100F reached 141 mph, faster than any other stock bike we’ve tested.”

There were two paint scheme options: Pearl Shell White and Candy Pearl Maui Red with black accents, and Pearl Shell White with Candy Pearl Capiolani Blue with red accents.

This example is VIN: JH2SC1107DM006386. The seller acquired the bike December 2022.

The odometer shows 35,000 kilometers (21,747 miles). Per the seller, “the gauges were rebuilt with new needles, faceplates, and dampening oil. The odometer was reset to 35,000kms – original mileage of bike at time of restoration. The bike has not been ridden since the build.” For this reason, Iconic Motorbikes must classify true mileage as unknown.

Maintenance:
Per the seller, “This 1983 Honda CB1100F Super Sport (Canadian / Euro model) has been freshly restored by dB Customs, with its amazing blue and white euro paint scheme and iconic gold boomerang comstar wheels. The immaculate paintwork was laid down by Sketchs Ink of Ottawa Ontario. Approximately 85% of the bike has been restored by either reconditioning of its original components or by replacing with brand-new OEM pieces. The balance of the bike (such as the forks, chain guard, mirrors, and gold wheels) were an 8.5 out of 10 (or better) condition and were left untouched as they presented extremely well with very little patina.”
