Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F was a sleek standard that took the best from bikes like the CB900F and the CB1100R. Along with a distinctive paint scheme, it received hotter cams, larger pistons, a redesigned combustion chamber, and improved fueling thanks to a set of four Keihin 34mm carbs.
As a result, this meant that it boasted some tremendous performance –- 108hp and 71.5lb-ft of torque. In January of ’83, Cycle World said “the Honda CB1100F is a high-performance match for any 1100, in terms of speed and acceleration and handling and braking ability, and has superior cornering clearance as well.” During testing, reviewers even found that “In the halfmile, the CB1100F reached 141 mph, faster than any other stock bike we’ve tested.”
Manufactured in November of 1982, this example is VIN: JH2SC110DM005629. The seller commissioned this example eight years ago from famous Canadian bike builder DB Customs based out of Ottawa, Ontario.
The seller had the gauges restored by CB750faces.com in 2021. For this reason, true mileage is unknown.
Maintenance:
Per the the builder, “The bike started out as a Canadian CB1100F that was treated to a full suite of suspension upgrades including twin OHLINS shocks, mounted to a modified Fireblade swingarm, conventional OHLINS 43mm forks mounted to replica AHM 7075 aluminum alloy triple clamps built by Zanzani in Italy.
Marchesini wheels were fitted from a Ducati 749 along with Michelin 2CT tires. Braking upgrades include Galfer rotors, Brembo RSC19 radial master cylinder, Brembo calipers, and Spiegler braided brake lines. The hydraulic clutch is activated by a matching Brembo RSC clutch master to a Metal Gear Works hydraulic clutch slave and clutch cover. The exotic black billet rear sets are from Nitro Racing Japan.
The engine is standard bore CB1100F with degreed cams, Morse race cam chains, and cam chain guides and AHM replica rear tensioner from V&H Racing (out of New Zealand). Ignition is a Dyna 2000 unit with 2.2 ohm coils. The carburetion is fed via an exotic set of 38mm Yoshimura TMR-MJN carbs and the exhaust is a JayGUI stainless 4-2-1 piece with replica AHM silencer.
The paintwork is extremely high quality with replica Superbike decals just like on Fast Freddie’s Superbike. The tank is also signed by Fast Freddie Spencer himself which is protected by the clear coat. The seat is a brand new Daytona cozy AHM replica piece.
The wiring harness is brand new and the gauges have been reconditioned to new condition.”

The sale includes one key and a signed photograph of this example by Freddie Spencer.
The tank bears a reproduction of Freddie Spencer’s signature. Per the seller “It is a reproduction of the original, which unfortunately the marker faded just a bit too much before I could get it clear coated. I met Freddie in London, UK and flew back home with the gas tank the next day, but it was just too light to really keep as is.”
Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
