Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F was a sleek looking standard that evolved from the 900F. In the process, it had tremendous performance –- in January of ’83, Cycle World said “the Honda CB1100F is a high-performance match for any 1100, in terms of speed and acceleration and handling and braking ability, and has superior cornering clearance as well.” During testing, reviewers even found that “In the halfmile, the CB1100F reached 141 mph, faster than any other stock bike we’ve tested.”
The 4 cylinder engine produced 108 horsepower, good for a top speed of 139 miles per hour.
Manufactured in November of 1982, this example is VIN: JH2SC110DM005629. The seller commissioned this example eight years ago from a famous Canadian bike builder – DB Customs based out of Ottawa, Ontario.
