Description

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

Yamaha originally released the RZ350 in 1983, and while America received a toned down version that came catalytic converter-equipped, Europe received their model without it. Good for a claimed 59 horsepower – a bump of seven ponies over the domestic version – the RD350F was more advanced in just performance numbers alone.

Based on a model that was only made in the US between the years of 1984-1985, the RD350F was an overseas exclusive model that bore a striking resemblance to the domestic two-stroke. The RD350F saw a few changes in design from the RZ350, most coming in the form of features such as full fairings, clip-on handlebars, opposed piston brake calipers in the front and rear, and no restriction of the use of leaded fuel. One thing that never changed across models was the steady advance of improvement and performance that Yamaha was known for in the 80’s, and the RD350F was no exception.

This example is VIN: YM31K054191. The seller purchased this motorcycle over three years ago, he notes that it was previously imported from Germany.

The odometer shows 26,984 kilometers (16,767 miles). The seller has put over 2,000 miles on this example.
