While the GSX-R750 debuted in 1985 for most countries, the US first got it and the bigger brother 1100 in 1986.

It was an instant classic – an aluminum box frame housed a 128 horsepower oil-cooled engine, and it looked the part thanks to the full bodywork. The dry weight was 433 pounds, an impressively low number for the time.

The seller of this example (VIN: JS1GU74A7G2100202, Engine #: U703-100889) acquired it eight months ago from a private party in San Diego, California.

He has not ridden it at all. The odometer shows 20,667 miles.

In July of 2020, the seller had us perform a $2,700 service on this bike that included a full carb rebuild, repaint of the rear wheel, fork seal replacement, and new brake pads front and rear.

Modifications:
Vance & Hines exhaust.

Individual air filters.

Zero Gravity windscreen.

Cosmetic Blemishes:

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Bridgestone Battlax tires with date codes of 2004 and 3016.

The sale includes two keys.
