While the GSX-R750 debuted in 1985 for most countries, the US first got it and the bigger brother 1100 in 1986.
It was an instant classic – an aluminum box frame housed a 128 horsepower oil-cooled engine, and it looked the part thanks to the full bodywork. The dry weight was 433 pounds, an impressively low number for the time.
This example is VIN: JS1GU74A6G2100840, Engine #: U703-100689. The seller acquired it from a dealership in Temecula, California two years ago.
During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 200 miles. The odometer shows 1,222 miles, but the seller states that true mileage is unknown.
In preparation for the listing, the seller had us clean the front brake switch, install a license plate light, replace the counter shaft seal, install a low beam relay, replace the neutral switch seal, install a battery tender lead, and had the fuel tank repaired and coated to fix a leak at the seam. Angel did the work, he notes that the tires need to be replaced due to age and the brake pads are at 60%/30% front/rear.

The sale includes one key.
The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues, calling it “a pretty clean rider that’s not perfect with a couple nicks and scratches – the usual considering she’s a 36 year-old GSX-R.”
