Additional photos of this 1987 Honda VFR400 NC24 are available here for your perusal.

Honda introduced the VFR400R in 1986 with the NC21 generation – the year after they debuted the NC24, which benefitted from the PRO-ARM single-sided swingarm.

The 399cc V-Four engine produced a claimed 59 horsepower and was notable for the distinctive sound of the gear-driven camshafts.

The 16″ front wheel was paired with a 18″ rear wheel held in place with 4 bolts.

This example is VIN: NC241004222.

The owner purchased it from us in March of 2019 with 13,954 kilometers. The odometer now shows 13,967 kilometers (8,678 miles).

Modifications:
Dual headlight conversion (we have not been able to identify the manufacturer).

Aftermarket seat with VFR branding.

Cosmetic Blemishes:

There is a crack in the fairing near the right headlight.

The tires are from 2014.

There’s an invoice from DMr Performance Suspension for a front fork rebuild with a cartridge emulator set, .90kg/mm springs, and OEM Honda seals.

The sale includes three keys (all aftermarket). In preparation for the listing, the seller had Ollie throw it up on the lift to clean the carbs and install a new battery.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this NC24 is offered on a clean Texas title. Have any VFR400 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
