Description

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

The GSX-R400 was originally launched in Japan in 1984 with the GK71 model, featuring a liquid-cooled inline four cylinder engine with DOHC, four valves per cylinder and close to 60 hp.

Lighter than its rivals (under 350 lbs wet), the aluminum framed Suzuki became a hit with its excellent handling, more-than-adequate brakes, and a race-derived heritage.

This example is VIN: GK73A10417. It came to Iconic as an import from the UK.

The odometer shows 53,422 kilometers (33,194 miles).

Maintenance:
Per the seller, the bike “underwent a full rebuild with costs amounting to over £5000. Every detail and stage of work performed was documented and recorded along with photographic evidence of its transformation.”

In preparation for the listing, the seller had us replace the oil and oil filter, brake fluid, and spark plugs. We also cleaned the fuel tank, serviced the carbs, washed the brake calipers, serviced the chain, and gave the bike a detailing.
