Description

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

The first generation – this is the bike that started the CBR line in the US. It was quick enough to compete in 600cc racing, but user friendly enough to still enjoy on the street during the week.

When it first came out, it was quite an improvement on the competition – Kawasaki’s GPZ600 (arguably the class leader at the time) was 28 pounds heavier and down 12 horsepower. This was the first 600cc sport bike capable of a sub 11 second quarter mile.

This example is VIN: JH2PC1011KM200640. The seller acquired the bike one year ago.

During his ownership, the seller has covered less than 100 miles. The odometer shows 30,109 miles.

Maintenance:
The seller has not performed any maintenance; he reports that the bike will “need a carb tune-up soon.”

Modifications:
This CBR600F appears to be completely stock.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Bridgestone Battlax BT45 tires that have aged out.

Currently located in San Diego, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Honda is offered on a clean California title. Have any CBR600 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
