Description

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

The first generation – this is the bike that started the CBR line in the US. It was quick enough to compete in 600cc racing, but user friendly enough to still enjoy on the street during the week.

When it first came out, it was quite an improvement on the competition – Kawasaki’s GPZ600 (arguably the class leader at the time) was 28 pounds heavier and down 12 horsepower. This was the first 600cc sport bike capable of a sub 11 second quarter mile.

This example is VIN: PC192102639. The seller acquired the bike through an auction one year ago. It was imported from the United Kingdom in 2021 and it was adorned in a UK-specific livery that the US did not get.

During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 100 miles. The odometer shows 27,846 miles.

Maintenance:
The seller states that he performed a carb clean and oil change a year ago. Additionally, he notes that it “will need a tune-up and a clutch replacement as it is currently not operating at the moment but it does turn on.”

Modifications:
This CBR600F appears to be completely stock.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Avon Azaro AV35 and Michelin M59 tires.

Currently located in San Diego, California, this Honda is offered on a clean Pennsylvania title. Have any CBR 600F stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
