We’re almost running out of things to say about the RC30/VFR750R, but you know we’re doing our best to be your best source on this Iconic machine!
If you need a reminder of why we love this Honda so much, the RC30 was built to race in the World Superbike Championship – and it won the first two seasons. Robb Report called it “the motorcycle against which every superbike of its day is measured against.” It doesn’t hurt that it’s also drop dead gorgeous.
Because this has a yellow wing logo on the tank and “VFR750R” on the tail instead of “RC30”, this is a non-US bike. Does that make it a little bit cooler? You tell us.
This is one for those of you that have wanted us to feature a rider that you can get for a relative discount and put plenty of miles on! It was originally sourced at a Mecum auction and required some tender love and care from Steve the Professor. It’s higher mileage but it’s a runner – just plan on installing new tires (our White Glove service would be glad to take care of that for you) before you enjoy it on the street.
Even better for those of you that want to ride, this RC30 is equipped with an Ohlins shock. We know we’ve got our share of low mileage display pieces that are perfect for collections, but we’re just as happy seeing high mileage riders come through. We hope the next owner sends us plenty of photos enjoying this RC30 on the street and track!
Shipping Information
Continental US:
Haul Bikes will ship anything sold through Iconic for a starting rate of $750 in the Continental US (prices may increase in rural markets), and Iconic will handle the paperwork on your behalf. You do not need to crate your bike or drain the gas/disconnect the battery if you go with Haul Bikes. We are glad to work with the shipper of your choice as well, but you will have to arrange it.
Please note:
- spares/extras will have to be shipped separately via FedEx or similar.
- the fee includes $15,000 of insurance with a $500 deductible. Additional insurance can be purchased at a cost of $50 per additional $5,000 of value.
