Kawasaki updated their standard ZX-7 (known as the ZXR750 in other parts of the world) sportbike in 1993 with ram-air induction and the upgraded pistons and cams from the previous year’s “R” special. That gave the 1993 “R” a better platform to improve upon, adding trick components like an adjustable swingarm pivot.

Other notable upgrades that riders got to enjoy with the “R” included: Aluminum gas tank, solo tail, compression and rebound adjustability in the 41mm front forks, remote reservoir shock, 39mm Keihin FCR flat slide carbs with a supplemental hole in the right side fairing for adjustment, and a close-ratio transmission.

Maintenance:
In preparation for the listing, the seller had us clean and sync the carbs, replace the fuel line, replace the oil and oil filter, flush the hydraulic fluid, service the chain, detail the engine, chassis, and bodywork, and install new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires with date codes of 1323 and 4823.
