ICONIC PROJECTS: if you follow us on Instagram (and you should!), you know that we’ve recently partnered up with Kamikaze Motorsports in Glenwood, Iowa. One of the many new services that will be coming from our partnership is a series of project bikes for those of you that like to tinker or are looking for a lower entry price to a bike you’ve always wanted for our White Glove service to fix up on your behalf.

Building on seven years of success and continuous improvements the 1992 GSX-R750W heralded a huge shift for one of Suzuki’s most important bikes. The 1992 GSX-R750 had an all new engine that was now water cooled, smaller in size but up on power, however the U.S. would not get the liquid engine for another year, instead using the air and oil cooled lump for one more year.
This 1992 U.S. model GSX-R750 benefits from the inverted front forks that the 1991 U.S. model did not get and it still uses the tried and trued oil and air cooled engine that received some small improvements from the prior year. A redesigned headlight and upper cowl rounded out the changes.

Modifications:
1988-1990 Slingshot bodywork. The seller notes that a previous owner (who also built a GSX-R custom that he just sold through us) built this as a tribute to Suzuki endurance racers from the past.
Yoshimura exhaust.
Aftermarket grips.
Mikuni RS flat slide carbs and pod filters in place of the stock airbox.
One piece solo seat style tail cowl. Not pictured is extra bodywork to allow for a dual seat.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
This GSX-R750 is wearing custom paint and decals.
There is a mark on the left side lower cowls.
The inside of the tank is clean and the engine turns over but the battery will need to be replaced and everything looked over before it is road worthy.
