1993 Kawasaki ZX-7R with 1,393 Miles

Please note: Upon purchase three years ago, the seller had Iconic prep the bike for long term storage. The bike has not been ridden nor had any fluids in it. As such, there is no cold start video. However, the seller has provided a walk around video.

Kawasaki updated their standard ZX-7 sportbike in 1993 with ram-air induction and the upgraded pistons and cams from the previous year’s “R” special. That gave the 1993 “R” a better platform to improve upon, adding trick components like an adjustable swingarm pivot.

Other notable upgrades that riders got to enjoy with the “R” included: Aluminum gas tank, solo tail, compression and rebound adjustability in the 41mm front forks, remote reservoir shock, 39mm Keihin FCR flat slide carbs. and a close-ratio transmission.

Another change is the supplemental hole in the right side fairing – that’s to adjust the flatslides.

Manufactured December 1992, this example is VIN: JKAZXDM19PA000400. The seller purchased the bike Summer 2021 from a private party through Iconic and states, ““Upon purchasing this Kawasaki in August of 2021 from Iconic Motorbikes, I used their White Glove Service to drain the fuel tank and carburetors, as well as fog the motor to prepare it for storage. I had no intentions of riding this and wanted it as a display piece only. Since then, it’s been on display in my office and it’s time to let it go. When delivered, this bike was pushed directly into my house and placed on display. It has not been touched whatsoever since the purchase, outside of a wipe down. The motorcycle was fully functional and running with no issues prior to having Iconic prepare it for storage. It’s about as perfect as it gets, with one small imperfection on the left rear fairing (detailed photos included). It is 100% stock, with zero modifications (outside of a battery tender), and has 1,393 miles. It is absolutely incredible!””

The odometer shows 1,393 miles.

Per the seller, “Zero maintenance or anything has been done to this motorcycle since I’ve owned it.”

It is riding on original Michelin Hi-Sport tires with date codes of 302 and 312.
