No Reserve – 1993 Yamaha TZR125

“Get aboard and you ARE Wayne Rainey, the billowing two-stroke hides the Donington grandstands, the traffic lights outside the chippy are the start lights at the British GP. You feel ten feet tall.” That’s how Phil West of BIKE magazine summed up what it’s like to get on the new TZR125, a mini sportbike that offered big fun.

The light weight and nimble handling were easily expected, but the tiny TZR also surprised with big-bike features like Brembo brakes and an electric starter.

The odometer shows 64,714 kilometers (40,211 miles).

This came from the collection of two-strokes we brought in from South Africa. In preparation for the listing, we had Daniel clean the carb, perform a fluid flush (coolant, oil, brake), install a new battery, and install a new chain. Daniel notes that the Michelin Pilot Street tires have almost no wear but they have date codes of 2915 and 0716. Previous maintenance history is not known.
