The 916 truly needs no introduction, but we’ll defer to VisorDown for our favorite summation:

Early 916s like this one were built at the Cagiva factory (back when they still owned Ducati) and featured the Cagiva elephant logo on the gas cap.
This example is VIN: ZDM1SBSS3SB004684. The seller is the owner of Adrenaline Cycle in Swansea, Massachusetts and this comes out of his personal collection. He acquired it from the original owner, and it is still on the original title.
The odometer shows 5,995 miles.
Adrenaline Cycle serviced this Ducati this year with a valve adjustment, fluid flush, new belts, and a new battery. The bike has been ridden just 10 miles since the work was performed. It was also ceramic coated five months ago.
