Kawasaki launched the KSR 80 as a rider-friendly runabout for getting around town. The mini motard packed an 80cc two-stroke, water-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed transmission.
With numbers like that, it was no surprise it became a local classic, coveted for reasons other than its original intention . With the 12 inch wheels and modern brake rotors, the KSR was just as capable on-road as it was in closed course use. The bike was said to achieve speeds close to 70 mph — a figure made all the more thrilling thanks to the low chassis weight and two-stroke power plant.
This example is VIN: MX080R022861. We believe (but cannot 100% confirm) that this is a 1996 model.
There is no odometer, so true mileage is unknown.
