VisorDown summed it up best in their retrospective review of the ZX-7R: “The Kawasaki ZX-7R still rates as one of the best-looking race-replica machines ever. And it’s been looks alone that have kept the venerable sexy seven so popular.” They go on to say that while the ZX-7R wasn’t as “radical” as their main competitor (the GSX-R750), it sold better thanks to better styling and a “race pedigree that the Suzuki couldn’t match.”
The 1996 model had several changes, including a new engine with more midrange power fed by twin ram-air intakes. It produced 123 horsepower at the crank.
It also got fully adjustable suspension front and rear as well as Tokico 6-piston brakes.

During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 150 miles on it. The odometer shows 10,077Â miles.
Recent Maintenance:
The seller states that he’s given the bike an oil change, carb clean, brake fluid flush, new front brake pads, and coolant flush. He adds that the bike will need new tires.
