Description

More of a sport-tourer than an outright sportbike, the 1100 is a beautiful anomaly from the usual Guzzi fare of torque-y cruisers.

Visually, the Moto Guzzi Sport 1100 stood out from its Japanese competition because the proportions of plastics to engine made it look so low-slung and broad-shouldered – the middle linebacker of the sportsbike world.

Traditionalists shouldn’t worry as it still packs the trademark V-Twin, but in this incarnation the motor is surrounded by performance components:

Brembo brakes.

WP suspension.

Bitubo steering damper.

Marchesini alloy wheels.

The 1,064cc motor was good for 90 horsepower and 71 lb-ft of torque, and you can flirt with 140 miles per hour with the throttle pulled all the way back. For more information, check out this story on Motorcycle.com – they call it a “unique combination of old-world sensations and modern components.”

This example is VIN: ZGUKEAKE8TM100253. The seller acquired it in October of 2017 from a private party in Arizona.

During his ownership, the seller has covered 100 miles. The odometer shows 8,545 miles.

Maintenance:
The seller states that the bike was stored in a container for some time, so he has installed a fresh battery, replaced all of the relays, changed the oil and gearbox fluid, and cleaned the carbs. He notes that the choke on the handlebars does not stay open.

Modifications:
Pod filters with Outerwears pre-filters.

Staintune dual exhaust.

The sale includes the original airbox and exhaust system.

Tall tinted windscreen.

Pro Grip Superbike grips.

Battery tender lead.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires with date codes of 2015 and 2017.

The sale includes one key.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Moto Guzzi is offered on a clean California title with registration current through March 2023.
