1998 Kawasaki ZX-11

When it was introduced in 1990, the Kawasaki ZX-11 was the fastest production motorcycle in the world. Part of that came from the face that it was the first production motorcycle with a ram-air intake, which helped the 1,052cc inline four engine produce a claimed 145 horsepower and 80 ft-lbs of torque.

In a period review, Cycle World said, “Now two years old, the Kawasaki ZX-11 Ninja is still the baddest, meanest, flat-nastiest motorcycle available. Forget about the other big-bore sportbikes: They’re all slow.”

Despite its immense performance, the Ninja ZX-11 was noted for being easy to ride and easy to maintain, which enabled it to have a lengthy production run that lasted until 2001.

The odometer shows 8,859 miles.

Maintenance:
In preparation for the listing, the seller had us clean and sync the carbs, flush the hydraulic fluid, and install new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires with date codes of 0923 and 1023.

As there was some rust inside of the tank, we sent it out to GTL to have it cleaned and treated with rust inhibitor.
