This is “The Devil’s Own,” a custom chopper that combines a prototype rubber-mount Rowe chassis and 1996 Harley-Davidson Sportster engine.
The engine was built by Dan Baisley of Baisley Hi-Performance in Portland, Oregon and it puts out 100 horsepower.
This bike was featured in Easyriders, and they note that “Jesse James built this bike back when West Coast Choppers was just beginning to make a name for itself, so lots of the fine touches on this bike like the frenched-in taillight and license plate are early Jesse James signature designs.”
The seller provided a photo of Jesse with the bike in the past.
This example is VIN: 1RCSP519700806. The seller acquired it from a family friend two years ago and is letting it go as he is moving. The odometer shows 2,359 miles.

Devil’s Own was invited to compete in Easyriders‘ 15th annual Invitational Bikes Show and was featured in the 2001 American Creations/Dreamgirls calendar.
The sale includes a MSO for the Rowe frame, maintenance records, and several Harley-Davidson brochures/manuals.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
During the seller’s ownership, the bike received a carb clean, oil change, and a tune up. The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues.
